I am blessed to have a loving wife and six loving children. Prior to that, I began my tattoo carrer in N.J. State prison. I tattooed on the “inside’ for a decade. I have been tattooing on the “outside for 17 years. Over the past two decades I have won numerous awards in tattooing, painting, and sculpting. My most prestigious award to date is a “best in show” ribbon at the Backus Gallery in a nationwide competition for an assemblage I created.
Not much is known about enigmatic “Brooklyn Rob” He arrived the day after an eclipse 8 yrs ago.
He showed up @ a Tattoo shop Naked with a mood ring, Tattoo machine and a Desire to put out Killer Tattoos.
The Local Indian tribes know him as “Fly Ouchie Tattooey” which translates
to “He who Tattoos like wings of a badass thunder bird”. Stories are whispered about his past.
Rumors of a long career in the arts both urban and professional in the concrete jungle known as NYC.
Honing his skills by catching mosquito’s blindfolded with chopsticks….then tattooing them. You can find
him forever sharpening his skills with the other Art Warriors and defenders of creativity at the Southern Samurai Tattoo studio.
My name is Chaz. I’ve lived in South Florida all my life. I’ve always been an artist and always was encouraged to become a tattooist. At 29 years of age I finally decided to do just that and the rest is history. I love the challenge of tattooing, making a design that is pleasing to the eye and tells a story. Grey wash is my preferred style, but I enjoy ALL styles! Hope to add to your skin soon!
